Do Something Nice this Valentine's Day
February 6, 2011
Some guys call Valentine's Day a "Hallmark Holiday." Other guys say that they and their wives "agree not to do anything" for that day.
It's just a hunch, but these guys probably do not receive "Very Thoughtful" ratings from their special women.
Men -- have you ever done something unexpectedly thoughtful for your wife, mom, a sister, or girlfriend? If you have, then you surely felt great about it. If you haven't, then that is what thoughtfulguy.com is here to change.
Ladies -- has your guy ever done something thoughtful -- even something simple -- that you did not appreciate? Would you object if he was thoughtful frequently (and unexpectedly)? Thought so.
I bought Kim a cool, inexpensive piece from one of our artisan jewelry partners for this Valentine's Day. I have had it stashed away for a week. Instead of panic this coming week, I will enjoy every minute knowing the fun she will have opening it. I will also give her a card scheduling a movie date later this month (one her favorite things). It really is the thought that counts (this is coming from someone who had to 'come around' to the bright side).
The weather is generally gray, Spring seems away, the football seasons are done -- a great time to turn over a new leaf and do something nice for your special gals this Valentine's Day.
Want some gift or non-gift ideas? Contact Kim directly at kim@thoughtfulguy.com. She'll be happy to help.
