Thought of the Day
April 10, 2011
This was true -- before thoughtfulguy.com!

Some guys call Valentine's Day a "Hallmark Holiday." Other guys say that they and their wives "agree not to do anything" for that day.
It's just a hunch, but these guys probably do not receive "Very Thoughtful" ratings from their special women.
Men -- have you ever done something unexpectedly thoughtful for your wife, mom, a sister, or girlfriend? If you have, then you surely felt great about it. If you haven't, then that is what thoughtfulguy.com is here to change.
Ladies -- has your guy ever done something thoughtful -- even something simple -- that you did not appreciate? Would you object if he was thoughtful frequently (and unexpectedly)? Thought so.
I bought Kim a cool, inexpensive piece from one of our artisan jewelry partners for this Valentine's Day. I have had it stashed away for a week. Instead of panic this coming week, I will enjoy every minute knowing the fun she will have opening it. I will also give her a card scheduling a movie date later this month (one her favorite things). It really is the thought that counts (this is coming from someone who had to 'come around' to the bright side).
The weather is generally gray, Spring seems away, the football seasons are done -- a great time to turn over a new leaf and do something nice for your special gals this Valentine's Day.

Valentine’s Day approaches and the Big Question is this: Is her man going to “do what he always does” and take her out to dinner (only)?
Gals, will he get the gold star on his forehead for being so creative and thoughtful? I didn’t think so.
We gently suggest that you men shake it up a bit this year and see what happens. Click on this link to check out our Valentine’s favorites – 12 items that cover a range of prices and styles, any one of which would surprise and delight her.

We just partnered with Moulton (a small Seattle, WA garden shop) to bring you their famous Garden Bon Bons and garden starter gift basket. The Garden Bon Bons are featured in Bon Appetite, Fine Gardening, Daily Candy, and other cool places.
This is Moulton's signature line of garden truffles - handcrafted bon bon balls of clay, organic compost and seed wrapped in a lovely presentation package. They are a perfect gift for novice and expert gardener alike.
Seed balls are a centuries-old planting technique. The compost provides nutrients to the seeds and the clay holds it together and protects against insects. to toss into the garden or indoor container. Find a sunny spot, add water and watch them grow!
